This email comes to you with much prayer for help! I am a 32 year old woman who works six days and up to 60+ hours a week, while raising two children. I have been fighting hard to better myself and my family. I purchased a vehicle (Jeep Liberty) from a dealership "Auto Gallery", who used a company by the name of Synergy Acceptance to finance the 2002 Jeep Liberty. I have been making my monthly payments to Synergy Acceptance for almost two years now with no problems.

March of this year I received a call from a company by the name of BayQuest Capital, stating that they were in the process of purchasing my contract from Synergy and that I would receive information in the mail regarding the process. I was advised that this was a "very positive" step for my future and that BayQuest was a very well known company who reports to all credit bureaus. April came around and as always I contacted Synergy and made my monthly payment with no problems.

Then it was time for May's payment, I contacted Synergy who advised me at that time that they could no longer take my payment I would have to contact BayQuest. I called BayQuest who advised me that either my contract had not yet been uploaded to their system or Synergy Acceptance was still in possession of it. They advised me I would have to make the payment through Synergy and that they would transfer the payment to BayQuest. Synergy Acceptance said that they could not do this and I would have to pay Bayquest.

Against my better judgment, still not having received any information regarding this company; I was assured it would be okay to give them a payment and all would be well. May 28th, I received a call from BayQuest stating that the check that I had given them by phone came back insufficient funds. I explained that was not possible as there were more than enough funds in the account and I had NO Notification of any NSF. I could not understand why they would not have contacted me earlier to notify me there was any kind of a problem.

After many phone calls and many different people along the way (mind you that no one at this company will give you a last name or even an email address, and for that matter extensions to reach people seem to disappear after two weeks); it was discovered that the employee that took my bank information ran the check incorrectly. The routing number for the account was right, the actual bank account number belong to someone else. I am a very understanding person and can see how mistakes can happen and sometimes things just fall through the cracks, however; this is where the real HELL begins.

The same employee that took my payment at the first of May waited to contact me at the end of May and now it was time for me to make another $460.00 dollar payment towards my jeep. Due to the fact that this was a company error and certainly not a late payment on my part; I asked that they please just defer my June payment. Bernard Anderson of BayQuest (supposed collections manager) advised he could not do this because I did not meet the requirements) due to the fact that this was just my first payment. Duh, it was first payment to their company to which "BayQuest" was responsible for royally screwing up.

As time passed it was discovered that that payment was solely put towards interest and none what so ever towards the principal! Hello, this is not legal and to this day they still have not corrected that payment.

At the beginning of June my father and I decided it would be best to just pay the jeep off and be done with this company all together. After two and a half months of headaches and struggles we continue to get lies and run arounds from both Synergy Acceptance and BayQuest Capital. Ha, each day I would call BayQuest and they would quote me a different amount owed on the vehicle, please realize that sometimes I would call two or three times the same day and get three different amounts each time.

The real slapper here is that they keep trying to charge me approximately $5,000.00 dollars more than I even owe on the jeep. I am truly baffled at why they would not be eager to want some one to pay off the monies they are owed, then it came to me. The previously stated to me that the only contracts they would consider buying from Synergy were accounts in good standing, people that actually make their payments on time. Thus, assuring them they were going to get their money but also comforting them to the levels they choose to rip people off (considering they, being BayQuest are located in Florida).

I had decided to do some investigating on BayQuest and surfed the website: Rip-off Reports, apparently to no surprise to me, I am not the only person that BayQuest has done this too. At my attempt to try and make a very long story short, there are several facts and situations that fall in-between here and there from the beginning of this and up to today.

I do not know if this is something you would even consider looking into but, what the heck it certainly couldn't hurt to give it a try. I do thank you in advance for any assistance you would consider providing to help me and possibly who really knows how many other people there are out there.
