How much longer do we consumers have to put up with their stealing!

They bought our previous bank two years ago and it's been downhill ever since!

My husband and I get direct deposit and instead of BB&T posting it when it comes in- they "memo post it" and put it in the next day. And amazingly the NSF fees add up Needless to say, this has caused me much grief and I am definitely writing the FDIC and FTC.

The funny thing is, I worked at this bank before it was the bank that steals your money, and I never had this trouble.

The"relationship bankers" are worthless they don't know diddly!

To top it all off, they did not deposit my line of credit because they said it would not have helped to pay the check! They have taken over 1000.00 in fees in 2 weeks and I am still fighting with them to get it back. No one at the bank has the authority to do anything; they have to pass it off to the next person. That means if one farts, they have to go get someone higher up to smell it.

If anyone is reading this, please send me a rebuttal so I know I am not alone.

BB&T SAME SAD EXCUSE-NOT BANK ERROR!

#2Author of original report

I have had it with this bank! My husband gets direct deposit every week the same day and has been for over 20 years. I finally found out that BB&T "memo-post" ( their legal term for using my money) my husband deposit. They say the funds are available but then they are not. They seem to use a different 24 hour clock than most people. To me 12:00 a.m is the next day, yet they don't post the deposit till 12:00 a.m the next day. (he gets paid every Thursday and they bank posts it on Friday.) They same thing happens to my online banking transfers. The money is coming from their bank between my accounts and they still do the fuzzy posting.

Granted I am not the best bookkeeper, but I check my account 2 to 3 times a week to make sure things have cleared and to transfer my money if I need to. I told them the purpose of using the online banking is to keep from getting the NSF fees.

I am like a dog with a bone; I am not going to give up. I am writing the FDIC and FTC and anyone else I can find.

They have a bunch of lamebrains working for them that but into the crap that the corporate office gives them. The days of customer satisfaction is gone. I am moving our accounts to a small hometown bank here in town.
