Worst Banking Experience/Terrible Home Loan Customer Resolution Process

 

My husband and I have a home loan with BBVA Compass and couldn't be more dissatisfied and unhappy with the customer experience, as it borders on criminal.  I have spent nearly two years trying to correct our mortgage banking situation with no resolution.  

Their escrow department makes regular miscalculations in payments which have resulted in nearly $4,000 in late fees and adverse credit notations due to their own operational inadequacies.   While errors are understandable in mortgage banking, the complete inability to fix them is not.   The escrow and "customer relations department" is completely dysfunctional and non-responsive.

Do not choose this bank to finance your home with unless you care to be unfairly changed thousands of dollars in late fees, spend endless hours on the phone trying to correct the situation with no resolution, and completely ruin your credit.  

It is unfathomable to me that this bank remains in business.
