At the beginning of October 2009 I called the Compass Bank Customer Service to report a dispute of a transaction posted by which drew my account in negative. I was informed by the representative that the form needed to start the investigation is not available to me and will be fax within 48 hours or sent to my mailing address within 7 to 10 businesses days. After numerous calls, and informing your representative that X Co has acknowledged the mistake made and refunded $195.15 to me, I have never received the forms until October 23rd 2009, 9 days after I brought my balance to zero and closed the account. In the mean time, my account was negative and most of my paycheck (Almost $600) directly deposited in the account was gone. I was told that all the fees will be given back to me once the investigation was completed. I received 10 days ago a letter of Compass Bank stating that they will refund me only 257. Today, November 13th I called Compass Bank at their corporate office again and was told that the Accounting Department will get to my check sometimes next week to type it up and then I guess sometimes will send it. and that $257 was all my refund which does not equals even to the total amount of OD fees and NSF fees imposed to my account. I finally learned also from a branch manager that the initial refund from enterprise has been held by the Bank since, despite my numerous attempts, ( 4 totals), and I will withhold the last worker telling me yesterday, November 12, 2009 that there is no way they can know, ( Smoky Hill branch, CO). This time, the very polite lady did call me back: A check again will be send to me, not to the branch Manager, and also will take 7 to 10 business days, ( I supposed from the same guys that will get to it whenever)
