I recently possessed a BBVA Compass Clear Points credit card and unknown to me, BBVA contacted TransUnion credit bureau who told them I was overextended.  I'm not.  I have plenty of assets to live on and no one checked into that before making this determination.  I have contacted BBVA Compass and they "said" they believed I was treated unfairly by TransUnion; however, they stuck with their decision to lower my credit limit from $12,000 to $2,500 without my knowledge.  I found this out when I went to pay a $30 airport parking bill and this card was declined.

Since it was over Memorial Day weekend, I had to wait until Tuesday, May 29th to inquire about what happened.  They informed me that TransUnion sent them a notification that I was over extended. When I contacted TransUnion, they disavowed any knowledge of having done so.  This all came as the result of investing in a real estate class to the tune of about $50,000.  I have NEVER been late, nor have I ever contacted a credit repair service regarding this issue.  BBBA is treating me like an irresponsible criminal who doesn't pay their bills.  They had no right to do what they did to me.

Still another! If YOU would have READ your Agreement, YOU would have seen they have the right to lower your limit or close your account at any time they wish. Funny, funny'
