Complaint Review: BCMG Inc

BCMG was the first company to call me in for an interview after I started my job search. I applied on line to a very vague ad on monster.com, that should have been my first sign that this was a scam. I was called and emailed the very next day, sign number two.

When I went in and met the man ding the interviews, he was about an hour behind, and there was a room FULL of people from all ages.  The man was the "owner" and was very nice and not creepy at all. He asked me to come back for a "trial day" (no details were given about the job or company, he just said they were a marketing firm) the next day and told me to wear comfortable shoes.

When i came back the next day, I waited an hour with about 5 other young people.  Each one of us was called into an office and each person left with a "professional." I was the last one called into the office. After a five minute "briefing" on the day (which was not useful at all), I was immediately taken to a broken down, dump of a car where we got in and ended up doing door-to-door sales all day.

The man who was showing me what they do was sooooo creepy. Asking to meet my parents. Saying he wanted to expand the company in Indiana and wanted to take me with him. He claimed ot have left a 100,000$ job to be a part of this company, but his car was a clear sign that he had no money and wasn't making any with this job.

I didn't meet anyone who had been working there for over a year. Don't fall for this company's scam.
