beach bum kennel breeder will not answer or return phone or e-mail calls north myrtle beach, South Carolina
On 11-6-2012 we drove to N. Myrtle Beach to pick up our West highland Terrier puppy. Robert had asked us to call when we got close so I did when we were about ten miles from there. We had previusly given him a time that we would be there but when we called he said that he was somewhere else and it would be about an hour and a half before he would be there. So we had lunch and he called and said he was home . When we arrived our pup was shivering and wrapped in a towel. Said he had just given him a bath. After the paperwork was explaine and money paid he said he did not have Akc paperwork back yet and he would send it as soon as he got it.
It has been almost 3 months now and still no papers.
Three weeks ago our pup started limping. checked his paw for a thorn or cut and did not find anything so we took him to the vet. After the X-rays the vet explained to us that he had HIP DYSPLASIA which is genetic.
I e-mailed Beach Bum Kennel to let Robert know. NO REPLY
I called his number and left a message. NO REPLY
Hand written on the paperwork that I have it states that there is a 2-year Health/Genetic Warranty/Guarranty.
I have no proof that this a puppy mill but after doing a little checking I don't recommend anyone buying and puppies from Beach BUM Kennels
