This company has slick television advertising, and a too-good-to-be-true pitch that I admit I fell for...seven dvd's plus plus plus for only $60 plus shipping of $12.95, and split into three monthly payments, so only supposed to be $19.95 plus shipping for my first payment. I also agreed to a nutritional supplement 30 day supply for only $1 plus $3.95 shipping, so the total to be debited to my account was under $38, but checking my account two days later I found that they had charged me $67.80!! almost twice the amount I had agreed upon.

I called the 800# (1-800-470-7870) and, after explaining that I'd been charged a LOT more than I agreed upon, they told me that it would take 7-10 working days for them to check their recording of the tape of our conversation when I placed my order. I told them that this wasn't good enough, and I wanted to cancel. They then told me that a manager would call me back in 15 minutes.

THIS IS THE ONE THING THAT THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY'D DO.

Shortly afterwards, and within the 15 minutes, a 'manager' called me back, and said that on reviewing their tapes they found that I had agreed to a deluxe package at the higher price. TOTALLY FALSE. They told me to just send the product back for a refund. I told them to cancel my order, as it was only two days after placing it, and that I was calling my bank to dispute the charge, which I've done.
Here's what else I've done...

1.) I've called the state Attorney General's office to file a complaint with them as this company is in the same state as me.

2.) Since this company ships with UPS, I've put in a call to the UPS fraud department. I've told them that since they've been notified about fraudulent activity by this company, that any further business they do with them, they could be considered accomplices. That's the upside, the downside is that since this company uses UPS, they very cleverly avoid being answerable to the US Postal Inspectors! This speaks to their perpetrating a scheme to purposely defraud consumers in a methodical and systematic way!!

3.) When speaking to my bank their representative mentioned this site, where I've found many additional claims against this band of fraudsters under their many different business names. Seems like they keep changing names so that the various bad reputations don't stick to whatever new fraud they're perpetrating! Lodging a report here is a MUST! I'll never buy anything again in the future without FIRST check the company out here!!

4.) Lodging a complaint with the BBB, which is old, tired and out-of-date, but some people still check there, so I'm covering all bases.

5.) When I next see advertising for this outfit, I'll be contacting the television station to let them know about the fraudulent practices of Beachbody et al.

If anyone has any additional suggestions, please let me know, or post here.
