Beachcombers Vacations And Castaways Vacation Club Based upon Ripoff Reports, this company is fraudulent. We bought a reduced price version of $7000 vacation program. Can't contact them via website. Carlinville Illinois
We are crusing in the Carribean. We were sold a fraudulent vacation club plan--per Rip Offs, in St. Thomas, USSVI, and are unable to meet the 3 day cancelation requirement via in-writing, certified mail, and return of materials to cancel contract. Isn't there a law enforcement agency that can step in and protect us if these people are breaking the law.
We have been unable to contact the company via e-mail or their website. We will be home too late (1-28-07, 4 days from sale) to meet mail requirements and will be at sea the next two days. 1-27-07 is the deadline. We have no phone number for Beachcombers in IL. We will tey contacting Castaways in Austin, TX, 5601 Brodie Lane, Suite 620-304, on 866-729-7741.

I just went through this about 6 months ago. My fiance thought we'd joined a nudist club & wanted to cancel because we went to the wrong Castaways site name on the internet. (Its castawaysvc.com, not castawaystravel.com)I joined Castaways Vacation Club through Beachcombers. They are NOT the same company. If you need to contact the travel agents at the Vacation Club (Castaways Vacation Club - NOT Castaways Travel - Castaways Travel is the au naturel club & they AREN'T the same thing) the phone number is 866-729-5541. If you need to contact Beachcombers about the contract you signed with them to buy the club membership you call the local phone number to the Beachcombers location you went to to join. The phone numbers and addresses are on all of the paperwork. I hope this helps you. Once we got in touch with the travel agents at the club we were booking our first vacation within the week.
