First, they extracted two teeth and inserted bone grafts. Three days after surgery, before the area was healed, Dr. Hien Nguyen worked in the area, drilling down teeth to anchor a bridge. While taking impressions, a stitch stuck and was cut by the dental assistant. Consequently the bone graft did not take and now I have a hole that is permanent.
Dr. Nguyen advised that I needed a 10-tooth bridge. Before the bridge was made I saw another dentist in that office who stated that the bridge would not work and I need implants. I went and got another opinion in a different office that agreed the bridge would never work and I need implants.
Since the bridge was never made, I requested a refund so that I can go elsewhere to correct the damage that was done at Beachside Dental. They refuse to resolve this matter and insist that the work is 85% complete. I now have 4 teeth that need crowns and are compromised unnecessarily. This should never have been done.
According to their itemized statement, they are charging $700. each for 10 crowns, which is what the bridge was going to be made of. The total is $7,000. that I am paying and there is no bridge and they refuse to refund.
