Beaman Toyota, Beaman Automotive Group ripoff failed to perform inspection that their invoice said they performed which possibly damaged our vehicle Nashville Tennessee

We had been having our vehicle serviced at Beaman Toyota for years, and right before we moved, they did a routine service which was supposed to include inspecting the air filter. They never performed the service, although it showed up on our invoice. They call it a "courtesy inspection" so that when they don't do them and something happens to your vehicle because of their neglect, there is nothing you can do.

As we were driving across the country when we were moving, we had a problem with the air flow meter which cost us almost $400, and could possibly have been avoided if they had inspected the air filter, which was filthy.

I would never take another vehicle to be serviced by them again because they are rip off artists. No telling how many inspections they have failed to do and told owners that they did perform. I guess that is one way to keep getting your business.

When I called to see why they did not inspect the air filter they blamed it on my husband saying that he did not want the spark plugs changed so they omitted checking the filter (a $22 item). On their invoice however it still says that they performed the 20 point inspection.

In their service guide manual in our Toyota it clearly says that the sir filter will be inspected every 5000 miles. Obviously that is a lie if you take your vehicle to Beaman Toyota.

My advice, steer clear! There are other Toyota dealers in Nashville that won't rip you off!
