For Bearcountry Vacation Victims: I received the below response from Patricia Anderson yesterday 12/19/2005.
Hello,
This email is to advise that Bearcountry Vacations has ceased operations and bankruptcy proceedings have begun in the matters of Bearcountry Vacations and Patricia Anderson. No vacations will be booked and all customers currently awaiting a response, tickets, refunds, etc will be contacted accordingly. All matters have been forwarded to the bankruptcy trustee who
will be handling this matter. All customers will be contacted accordingly.
We are unable to provide any further information at this time. The next contact will be from the bankruptcy proceedings. Bearcountry Vacations Incorporated and Patricia Anderson will not be issuing any refunds or further payments accordingly with the bankruptcy proceedings. There will be no further contact from Patricia Anderson or Bearcountry Vacations.

There are reports like this one that Pat Anderson and Bearcountry Vacations are filling for Bankruptcy, but there is no proof. If you notice, there is no tracable information given in this "suposed" email from Pat.
Who is the attorney handling the case?
In what district is the case to be filed?
Who do cutomers contact if they have questions or wish to file a claim?
Do not believe the bankruptcy reports without proof! Pat Anderson would like you to think this in hopes that you will give up and go away. Many, many people have been scammed by her and she owes alot of money. If you don't keep up the pressure, she will get away with YOUR money!!!!
Make sure you report her here and with the California Seller of Travel office.
She will be caught and brought to justice!
