On May 29,2000 my wife and I bought a 1998 used Forrest River Windsong 34' Class A motorhome from Mario Rizzo a salesperson at Beaudry RV. The motorhome had only 11,000 miles on it and looked and smelled like a new coach. We had never heard of that make and model coach and asked Mario why such a new coach was for sale. He stated that the former owner had become disabled and could no longer drive the coach and so they had obtained the coach at far below its real value. I asked him what the coach sold for when it was new. He said he didn't know but he would go and find out from the Sales Manager.

He returned in about 15 minutes and said that it sold for $110,000.00 with the equipment it had on it. He also said the coach was equipped with leveling jacks and pointed out a control box below the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. The paperwork for the Extended Warranty we purchased at the time of the sale lists the Leveling System as one of the items covered. We paid a total cash price of $81,713.32 for the vehicle.

We later found out there was no Leveling System installed. The ox he showed us was a controller for a tow hitch eveler that wasn't there either. In 2002 we attempted to refinance the coach at a lower interest rate and at that time we found out we had paid over $20,000.00 more than the coach was worth. We were told by the finance company that we had paid almost as much as the original sale price for the coach and that the coach was now worth less than what we owed on it. We were devastated!.

Also, we have had multitudinous problems with the coach right from the start. We have spent over $16,500.00 in the 3 1/2 years we have owned the coach. I'm sure the previous owner got rid of it because he was having the same amount of problems we've had and not because he became disabled.

I've written to Beaudry in San Marcos a couple of times and also to their Home Office in Tucson, AZ and no one has even paid me the courtesy to answer my letters. I'm sure there must be many others that have experienced this kind of nightmare in dealing with the dishonorable liars at Beaudry RV.
