Complaint Review: Beaute

The initial offer was for a "free" sample and pay only shipping charges. However, after receiving my "free" sample, my credit card was charged the shipping charge Plus $99. There was no invoice sent with the prodct and no phone or contact information for the company provided on my credit card bill. It took a bit of searching to find a contact number, which I found on Ripoff Report. Upon contacting the company I was informed that they did not send a "sample" but the full size product and that they do not give refunds. I told them I wanted to cancel any further orders and they did give me a cancellation number only after they tried to get me to keep my subscription by offering a discount. Apparently from reading other complaints--wish I had investigated this first!!--I see that this is their pattern. BUYER BEWARE!! I am now negotiating with my credit card company to get the charge reversed. I highly recommend using a reliable credit card company and Never use a debit card, because you will not have any recourse by using your debit card.
