Beaute wrinkle reducer False advertising! Advertised product sold and promoted by celebraties and I only ordered sample but they kept sending it to me and taking money out of my account. North Las Vegas Nevada
First of all this company lured me in by using a celebraty advertisement that I now believe was false. It claimed that Joane Gaines was making a skin care product and going into full time work with this product. Because I trusted the celebraty, I took the bait. A "free trial size " was offered for only shipping and handling charges. What they did not say was that my bank account would be charged for that supposed "free" offer if I did not cancel, plus they kept sending me "samples" once a month but debiting my bank account $99 a month for one product and $89 for a second one. I had ordered a sample of Beaute' Wrinkle Reducer and the Beaute' Wrinkle Creme.
I did not catch the debits on my account until after four months. Shame on me for falling for this and not catching it sooner. But what a scam! I called the company immediately (today 9/10/17 around 2pm CST) and was offered up to "50% off if I continued but of course I refused. I asked if I could send back the product for a refund and was told that was not offered. The person I spoke with even said that he understood why I was upset but there was nothing he could offer for me to do. I asked for the name of a supervisor and was not given one. He did however promose to stop sending and debiting my account.
What can be done? This clearly is a scam product. By the way, I did use the first sample size (all others were also the same "sample" size) and it does nothing that it claims. I was sure I read about a "money back guarantee" but am too furious to go searching for it now. This scam has cost me around $800 of money I can't afford to loose.
