I feel this is an issue which really falls under Consumer Protection.  The idea of marketing a product by offeringa free trial period, has become the number one rip-off method of promoting inferior products.  I know this and I am so angry with myself.

I this case I feel doubly hurt because I really enjoyed the sweet loving personalities on 'Fixer Upper' which is why I was enticed into trying this product.

1. I thought something was wrong when I could not capture the screen.  I knew I needed to have the exact words if something went wrong and it did.  So I was ordering something for $10 postage and two weeks later I was charged $89 for one product and $99 for the other.  Neither product is worth the postage.

2. When I called to complain, the sales person said there words in small print that explained the program.  I know this is not true but I have no proof. I received no invoice, I have nothing about the product, there is no marketing info - nothing.  As soon as the last digit of the credit card was entered, the screen disappeared.  Everything about this promotion was sleezy.

3. Many of these online products depend on legal statements to cover all sins.  The last thing they care about is customer satisfaction because the shipping is covering a good part of the product cost and two weeks later you are entered into an automatic renewal program at 10 to  20 times more than what the product is worth.

Online companies that promote products using a person's good name but then bleeding the customer with underhanded methods should be shut down.  While the company is legally protected, in truth, this is customer fraud.
