my girlfriend and i own a tattoo business, and my girlfriend got training done by this company to do something called microblading. The company taught her incorrectly, using needles that are not meant to be used on human skin (the owners own words). She works at my tattoo shop doing this. This company goes all around the US offering trainings for 2500$ and they are selling poor quality, defective needles to new trainees for way to much money. The quality these needles are in can lead to health risks that are not explained in the training. All of the equipment is cheap, overpriced, and defective; and can cause health problems involving blood born pathogens such as hepatitis c, etc. The tool provided at the training has porous materials, which can absorb bacteria and blood born pathogens; and cannot be properly steralized. Their pigments, and numbing creams have no label listing ingredients; their microneedles all have the same lot number (as well as the same lot number that is on their website showing needles), leading me to believe they put the same lot number on all of their needles. I am very concerned for those being trained by this business, and all the clients that come in contact with them and anyone they have trained. Lots of people are being put at risk and being misinformed.

Response to Concerns

Thank you for your concern in regards to the training and products/tools that we offer.

Beauty Mark Brows provides high quality, sterile tools to our students, as well as uses them on our clients. We do not put our name on, nor use on our clients, product that is not up-to-par with our standards. The same exact product that is sold on our website and included in our Beauty Mark Brows Microblading Kit is the same exact product that we use on our clients.

Our pigments, do indeed have ingredients listed on them. The numbing creams come with inserts in the packaging that provide ingredients. We email MSDS forms to all of our students using our product (as all Health Departments require this). When we host training classes, we contact the Health Department to come and approve our location. As well as the location, the products/tools are also examined by the Health Inspector. All of our product (pigments, numbing agents, needles, handtools) have been inspected and approved by multiple health departments in multiple states/counties.

This gentleman, who we have no record of ever taking our course or purchasing our product (he is apparently speaking on his girlfriends behalf), called us and told us that he had defective needles. We asked that he email us pictures of these defective needles and we would immediately provide a refund. In over 2 years of selling and using our Microblading Needles, we have NEVER come across an instance like this where so many needles from the same lot were defective. While waiting for the pictures to be email, we looked for the order that was made purchasing the needles. The "girlfriend" attended our course in September 2017, placed the order in November of 2017, and the gentleman was now calling us about the needles in February of 2018 (4 months after the date of purchase.)

He promptly sent us images of defective needles. While these needles were indeed defective, they were outside of our sterile packaging. When there are pictures of needles outside of their sterile packaging, it is hard to know: 1) Where the needles actually came from (were they Beauty Mark's needles?) 2) If the needles had been damaged when being removed from their packaging or if someone had tampered with them outside of their packaging. He sent us 2-3 different needle pictures, all of which were damaged, missing pins, etc. Even though we were not sure that these even were our needles, we promptly refunded the original order $80 without arguing.

After the $80 refund was sent the same day, the gentleman called back. He was worried that all of the needles had the same lot number (as well as the images of the needles on the website.) I informed him that our website shop had been redone in October of 2017, and it was very likely that the needles ordered in November of 2017 were from the same lot. I also explained to him, that when the needles are manufactured and placed into their sterile packaging, each lot contains hundreds of needles. It is very likely that needles mailed out at the same time all have the same lot number. He asked more questions, we provided more answers. He became angry and demanded a $2,500 refund for his "girlfriends" course that she had attended in September 2017. We informed him that unfortunately, he would not be recieving a $2,500 refund for a course that she had already attended. This infuriated him and he demanded a refund for the course or threatened to call the news station, and "bash" us on every platform he could.

We appreciate Rip Off Report giving us an opportunity to respond to this gentleman's claims, and we invite anyone with additional questions or concerns to email us at Info@BeautyMarkBrows.com

Thank you!
