Complaint Review: Beautychoice.com

After 13 years with the same hair straightener I decided it was time for a new one. After watching a ton of reviews on youtube I finally made a decision on the type of straightener I wanted. Many videos where also recommending the website Beautychoice.com. So on March 23, 2012I ordered a GHD hair straightener for $177.74 (originally $205) from Beautychoice.com.

Immediatly after placing my order I recieved a "pop-up"confirmation. Working from a laptop (not connected to a printer) I closed the pop-up confirmation, assuming would be emailed to me, which it was not. After 2 weeks of no emails or product I began to call them. The first few days where unsucessful. On the 3rd day I was able to get a hold of someone who told me the straightener was back ordered and that I would be receiving an email to inform me of a new estimated ship date, then she immediately hung up on me. After an additional 2 weeks past I began to call once again. I have called about 3-4 times a week since and have not be able to get a hold of anyone. I have left repeated messages for them and have NEVER received a phone call back! It is now MAY 9TH!!!

Shortly after my first phone call to Beautychoice I began researching them online. I found that there are a TON of people in the same boat as me (especially on yelp.com). I wish I would have wised up and done the research first. I would like my money back at this point. I would love to see a class action law suit start.

Anybody going through or gone through the same situation as me please share your story. Lets get together and put these guys out of business
