Neal Martin accepted a $25,000 check for 5000 sq feet of flooring in May 2001. The order for the floors was called in on November of 2001 and only 1000 sq feet was delivered by January 3 2002.

After persistent calls, emails and excuses I decided that the floors were never going to arrive and the inspectors on my house were unable to give me a Certificate of Occupancy.

They just could not believe that the hardwood floors had not arrived after 4 months. I decided to ask for a refund on February 23 2002.

Neal Martin said he had nothing to do with refunds - it was the accounting department - they would process the refund and send the check a month later - according to their 30 day policy. This policy had to be ordered by the New York State Attorney Generals office due to previous cases against Beaverhome.com.

After 30 days - April 1, the accounting department Stacey Kerchinski - indicated that they could not send the check unless Neal martin authorized it.

It is June 21 2002, as I write this, and Neal Martin still has not issued a refund check and has no intentions of doing so. He is a dishonest and amoral character. Be careful when dealing with him.
