Beazer Homes Home built on poor foundation of clay and gravel causing house to sink and walls and foudation to crack. Internet, Georgia
Our home was built in 1997 and began showing signs of cracks in the wall. I thought this was general settling of the house. Just after the warrant ran out the kitchen floor began to crack and sink and large cracks began to appear in the walls.
Beazer don't feel it's their duty fix the problem because the warranty has run its course.
It appears the house was built on a hill on a foundation of water, clay, and gravel. I question as to whether Beazer receive the proper clearance to built on this particular spot. The city engineers claimed to have lost the paper work associated with the planning of this property. I smell a rat or a series of rats.
