My partner and I purchased this vehicle on September 5th 2015. Not three weeks later the Jeep stopped running and I took it to a transmission shop where the mechanic diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced along with some other more minor repairs. The warranty company refused to move forward until the transmission was subleased to a transmission shop and torn down. The mechanic's diagnoses was proven however the warranty company claims the radiator caused the transmission internal lubricated part to fail therefore they would not cover any repairs since the radiator is not covered. Now we have acquired over $5,000 in repair costs and this process has been going on for close to two months without any resolution. I have contacted the dealership where we bought the Jeep but they have not returned any of my calls or emails. When we purchased the Jeep they told us their mechanics had checked everything and there were no problems, the carfax report they gave us was completely clean, but not the warranty company is saying these problems were preexisting before we bought the Jeep.
