On 8/27/2013 I purchased a mattress and box spring from Bed Pros Tyrone store. It has a five year warranty. The manager at the time Matt Grzesiakowski personally delivered the set to our condo at 18325 Gulf Blvd , Redington Shores Florida 33708. He helped me remove the old set and put the new one on my existing frame. Some Peolple started complaing about the mattress during the first year and some did not so we assumed it was just individual taste etc;. My sister-in-law was there last weekend and complained that the mattress (we bought a FIRM), had a tendency to roll you to the middle. Upon a closer inspection of the mattress and box spring, they found that the box spring main center wood brace was broken causing the mattress to sag in the middle.

I immeadeately called the Tyrone store and talked to the new manager Tony Alfonso and explained the situation to him. He asked if I could get pictures of the mattress, box spring, and frame and send them to him which I did. Mr Afonso emailed me and told me we had the wrong frame and therefore the warranty was not going to be honored. He indicated that the proper frame for that set has an additional bar down the middle of the frame lengthwise. I told him that we were never informed that a special frame was required and that the manager who installed it with me saw my frame and never mentioned it was not adequate. I indicated we would gladly have bought a frame from them if we were told it was needed. None of our paperwork indicated this was the case. I also told him I have the same frame on other beds for fifteen years without an issue. His only response was to offer to sell me a new set which I thought was a lot of nerve. He has not responded to me again.

I attempted to contact the corporate office but was told there isn't one as Bed Pros is a family owned business and you have to deal with the individual stores.

I am not opposed to buying a new frame from them if they replace the mattress and box spring that should still be covered under warranty.
