I ordered a box of Bed Bug patches to see if they work. I currently live in a shelter and volunteered to be the test dummy before everyone / anyone else placed an order (43 resident)

I placed the order on the 20th of Jan. Received an email saying it shipped on the 21st.Come the 27th and still no order. Contacted the company four times, on the 27th, the 28th, 29th & 31st - no reply. Went searching for a customer service phone number - none to be phone. So I started a search on the owner to find out what was going on.

I find the owner's phone number, call it and Joseph Renzo answers but says it's not him. Anyone who works in or with businesses offices knows the difference between a business phone and a personal phone / demeanor - this was definitely a personal phone.

I tell Joseph Renzo that ordered over a week ago and want to know wheres my package is. He's suddenly in a hurry to get me off the phone and tells me it will ship tomorrow... I ask him if I'm going to be compensated for being told it shipped when it didn't and for the additional five days to ship (if it actually does.) No reply he just says he'll ship it tomorrow.

Yea.... Check is in the mail

If you have the same problem as me you can call 516-777-0989 and ask him where your order is. Probably won't do much good but it may annoy him as much as it annoys his customers to place an order and never receive it. You can also try 516-551-5885 as I saw this number in a report for the Wall Street Journal.

Will I buy again? Even if I receive the order it's pretty doubtful at this moment since the phone call was pretty much a snow job. Which sucks for both his could of been customers and HIS business. There are at least 20 other people (out of 43) in the shelter who were really hoping this was a good product from a reliable company and are willing to buy...yep we have money and jobs and our money is just as spendable as everyone elses.

I called again today to find out when I would be refunded and the guy who answered (Joseph Renzo?) gave me three new stories. He really should keep index cards as a reminder to what stories he tells. He said so much BS that I honestly don't have the time to type out of the revisions of his BS story.

To make a long story short I finally caught him in a verbal corner and asked him for the number of the supposed person he was calling at the company - he refused and hung up. Someone from the company (or just someone else) did call me back to let me know that my money had been refunded this morning and he had shipped the product out to me.

I told him what the guy had said to me and asked him why the company didn't sell or ship to "Homeless Shelters." The person who called me said he had no problem shipping to any address at all and didn't know why the other guy (he said was the website designer) said that.

But here is the thing

The guy I first called insisted I never gave him my address and then said it wasn't a real address because it was a Homeless Shelter and then went back to saying I didn't give it to him...

How did they ship a product to an address the first guy claimed they didn't have?

Why wasn't I called if they didn't have the address?

Why wasn't I contacted after my 1st, 2nd or 3rd email?

And a big humongous why in Hell would they list the first guy's phone number as a contact number for anything? This guy is a total PR nightmare and employee communication failure.

I want the product to work as there are 51 other people who are looking for something that works. There is a small few of us that are trying different products and letting others know what works and what doesn't. But I am still so miffed about being prejudice against that I simply want to say screw you and Hell no. But the sad fact is, if it works we need it. So I hope it works but this experience has really left a bad mark on their company for me.

Dear Customer,

Jrenzo is a website designer that created our website. He does not have any affiliation with taking or shipping orders. I apologize for the inconvenience. We always stand by our "money back guarantee" if not satisfied. I did some research and the only order that shows up in your area is for a Kimberly at Turning Point in Santa Monica. I personally googled Turning Point and got a specific street address and re shipped order. I assume this is you and if it is we can refund your money and please keep our product when you receive it. You can email me back at bruceburley22@gmail.com

Once again,

Sorry for the inconvenience and we will make sure our website information is properly set up.

Sincerely,

Bruce

Never got a call back

Called again today (2/1/2011) and was told my address wasn't real. Then I was told they can't ship to homeless shelters because the address won't come up in the mail system and then I was hung up on.

I called back and said I wanted my money back - The guy said he doesn't even work for them any more... um yea, his name is the ONLY name that comes up for the company in all media articles and business reports.
