Sphynx Breeder Kitten / Cats Detroit, Michigan Pets & Animals: Cats & Kittens: Sphynx Ad 1488284 placed 16 hours ago by beeblebroxsphynx (member since Feb 6, 2008) report ad Please Sign In or Register to contact member Your Email: Message: This ad is: ok | empty | a scam | conversational | offensive | overposted I am posting this ad because I am terrified as I look through Hoobly and see so many breeding sphynx cats for sale. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU START BREEDING SPHYNX CATS! All sphynx breeding cats need to undergo heart scanning to identify if a genetic heart condition is present before they are bred and every year after because this heart condition can pop up at any age. It's a good idea to know that the parents of your breeding cat have scanned clear also. All sphynx should also be blood typed before breeding. Did you know if the sire and queen carry incompatible blood types, the mom could poison the newborns when they start to nurse? There are many resources available to study the pedigree of sphynx. Find them and use them. There are MANY MANY MANY other things to consider before breeding. Most reputable breeders won't sell sphynx breeding cats to just anyone so be careful and do your homework. Reputable breeders are looking to improve the breed and sells only PET kittens from litters that are not breeding/show quality to offset the cost of helping with their practice in the betterment of the breed. Be weary of those selling poor quality kittens as "breeders". Beeblebrox Sphynx DOES NOT SELL BREEDERS. We are just posting this ad because we feel very strongly about the breed and it deeply saddens us to see all these ads offering to sell breeders who could potentially be carrying HCM or other hidden genetic issues.

Des Bashs breeders who sells breeders but do your research BEEBLEBROX sells breeders.

To whomever it may concern (i.e. anonymous author of this post):

I am flattered that you are interested enough in our practice to post this information.  Thank you for visiting our website, our advertisements and for marketing our policies and practices.

#1) Hadakat nor Beeblebrox have 5 locations.  We wish we did!

#2) Regarding the hoobly ad that seems to have made you a bit upset.

I think anyone who breeds sphynx cats before scanning or sells cats as breeders without taking the proper health precautious needs to educated in the practice.  When I first started professionally breeding 2 years ago, I didn't know about these things so my goal is to teach and help people in order to protect the sphynx breed.

#3)  'Practice what you preach"

That is exactly what I am doing.  Actually, I am preaching about what I have practiced.  I'm trying to help people learn from my bad experiences.

I have sold 3 breeders since I have been breeding.   However, 1 of those situations has became very regretable for me hence why I was scared away from ever selling a breeder again.  The situation however, has encouraged me to tighten up even more than before when it comes to health, contracts and the company I keep.  Now I look forward to one day sharing my lines and developing relationships with better, responsible breeders.

FYI:  I updated the hooby ad. http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/1488284.html
