Complaint Review: Befunded.com and George

On March 29, 2012, a wire from my/our corporate account at Chase Bank was sent in the amount of $2,200.00 (+$30.00 fee) to Befunded.com to Bank of America, for a residential mortgage loan document fee. We contacted George at his office and via email to note the deposit, and requested confirmation of receipt. However, no return message was met until further investigation found a duplicate business on the internet. When the number was contacted at 770-509-3232, George called back the next day, and said he was out of town and that the file was sent to underwriting.

There has been no form of documents forwarded to us, or services rendered. There has been 2 return calls or emails after that day. There was also emails and phone calls made to inform George that there was a $500 over payment made, and to return our funds immediately. His actions prolonged our property purchase, and caused a hardship to our company and family. Chase Bank informed us of a failed attempt to recall the funds in the Bank of America account. The funds were not available to recall. At this point, we need intervention to retrieve our funds immediately. George's office at the time was located in Marietta, GA., where he claimed to reside near his office. We resided in the area in 2011
