Bekins A1 will tell you what you want to hear just to get the job, they send a bunch of non-movers to your house to break and steal your stuff. when you call them on it you get the yes man who lies to you and says he will take care of it, but when he gets off the phone with you he sits around with other office personnel and laughs at you and calls you a dumb b***h. I have seen this personally on more than one incident.... They treat their employees like dirt because their is another illegal or jailbird sitting at the labor agency who will gladly come steal your stuff, and if they hire from their they don't have to do a background check. They pay their employees that they have by percentage so they can make up whatever rules they want on how you get paid which usually ends up to be less than minimum wage. I've seen guys work 2 weeks and get less than $600. So all in all keep clear of Bekins A1 or you might get screwed to.......A very dishonest company where the company comes first and the customer and employee are just some one to crap on!

On Thursday, April 8, 2010, Bekins A-1 Movers, Inc.-Las Vegas (currently operating in 20 additional locations nationwide) terminated an employee at the branch located at 4210 Sobb Ave. Two business days later, a negative posting against the same Las Vegas office appeared on the Ripoff Report Web site containing unsubstantiated claims against the Bekins A-1 company.
