The technician who installed my satellite services broke my TV and the company refuses to fix it. I have spoken to a myriad of people from their customer service department and no one can or will do anything about the problem. I have followed their escallation process and they are so unresponsive, it's appalling. Finally they agreed to send someout to check out what happened.  When they sent this person out - and they confirmed the TV was broken, he told me the technician denied breaking the TV, and that if the company was to give any recompense, it would come out of the technician's own pocket (so of course he denied it). He also said that if the technician refused to pay, then I'd have to take him to small claims court and the guy probably wouldn't even show up, so it would be a waste of my time. He also said that even were they to compensate me for the TV, it wouldn't be at full cost because "as soon as it leaves the store, it's only worth like half of the original price". Please note, I had bought the TV 5 days previous to the technician breaking it. This gentleman was also kind enough to tell me that this is the reason Bell outsources - so that it doesn't have be responsible for anything that happens on installation.  Bell has said they outsource these installations so they will not take responsibility for the damage, but they also won't give me the name of the company they outsourced to so that I am unable to follow up with them either. Ultimately my hands are tied and I'm stuck with a broken TV and services from an unethical organization.

Sorry to hear about your TV.

You can try this:

http://www.ccts-cprst.ca/

"The Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (CCTS) is an independent organization dedicated to working with you and your telecommunications service provider (TSP) to resolve complaints relating to your telecommunications services. "

Hope this helps....
