Bell Honda ripoff don't buy from this dealeship! Glendale Arizona
In 2002 I bought a brand new honda civic EX from bell honda.
I thought I was getting a smoking deal but had to put down $2000 dollars as a down payment. I have excellent credit and had a well paying job. As i have seen written in here before Bell honda after nagotiating on a set price printed up my contract. on the contract they tried charging me for a lot more than we agreed on. Like GAP insurance, paint protection, and tinting on the windows with floor mats upgrade package witch they tried charging me $800 dollars for.
Well after hours of arguing I got everything cleared up and took my car home that night. three days later they called me and said I needed to put a greater deposit down becouse of my credit. Bull crap! my credit is amazing. but since i alwready had the car for three days I could not return it and they wanted another $3000 dollars. I usually get my vehicles through a fleet and never had to put up with this crap. So I went back and dug money out of my savings to pay the rest.
Every thing seemed to be cleared up so I started to go to there parts department to modify my vehicle. They told me that anything I purchased from there would be under the vehicles extended warrenty. 6 years 70 - 80 k miles I forgot now.
Well anyway I got a spoiler put on and they dented my trunk and refused to fix it and put in indeglo guages. the guages melted in the dash about once a month and none of my guages would work
No speedometer no gas guage no temp guage nothing. Aafter the second time of them taking my car for an entire day I just asked for a refund because I did not feel the need to spent $240 dollars on something that was trashing my car and obviosely would not be fixed properly. Tthey refused to give me a refund or just put the factory guages back in my car. Tthey replaced them again. Aafter doing this for about a year of going in every few months the last time they said my warranty was up. One year on the guages. When I bought them I was told they would go with the warrenty of the vehicle six years and 55k miles . So now I'm stuck with all broken guages and they wont even put the stock ones back in. I got screwed royal with this deal.
