I was told by friends and relatives that "if you're going to get a celular phone don't use Bell's they make a lot of stupid charges. Last year I got a cel phone w/ Bell because I saw a good deal on the advertisment beside I want try to find out why my friends dislike Bell. I payed over $500 for the first day I got the phone... It hurts. The phone was $80 deposite $300 and the rest is for activation charge. I didn't pay for activation for my previous phone.

Every month they sent me a bill charge me for Mr. Rescure crap that I've never used and they billed by minute If I pick up the phone just to say hello cost my 35 cents. the plan is $25 dollars a month but I was billed over $100 dollars a month. I looked at the bill there are some charged that I didn't even used If I don't call them and aske why did I get that charge I'll recieve the charge every month but It is really borther me to keep calling them and wait to get to talk to there reps.

If you use Bell then you'll understand

We recently got a Bell phone, (Moto Razr), on the $25/m package with all kinds of stuff.

A couple weeks after getting the phone the rep called and left a message on our machine saying that hte 3 month promotion for unlimited airtime was a mistake and he had to remove it from our account.

I dont think so... Its in our signed contract.

We called Bell customer service, told the lady the situation, and she instantly put the unlimited 3 months free back on our account. No questions asked, no problems. She was able to tell us when it was removed etc. When we got our first bill, there were no problems. $25 for the next month, plus $15 or something for the prorated month we had used up. The bill was exact, with no hidden charges.

While the guy who sold us the phone reversed the free airtime, customer service was great at putting it back on. So far so good - fingers crossed.

I got fooled into a contract as well. I signed up for the fun30 package for $30 per month. I was getting billed double per month. I have been calling them every since month about it because my phone continuously gets suspended. They continuous refuse to change my package and yell at me.

I finally got someone that seen that my account was a total mess and she got it all straightened out. Do not deal with the men, they are assholes. I recommend that you find a different provider, don't pay the bill and let it slip off your credit bureau in 7 years

I felt it's too much so I cancelled the phone when the contract was over. They told me that I have to let them know a month before or else I'll get penalty charge if I cancel the phone
which mean I get charge eventhough I'm not using the phone.

I'll never go back to Bell for the rest of my life!!! and I'm going to tell everybody about this.
