I've been with Bell Mobility for less than a month and already I've apparently hit my spending cap of $175 twice!! My plan which rings in at a whopping $70/mth has unlimited data and email, evenings and weekends free starting at 6pm and a reasonable amount of daytime minutes. So why am I hitting my cap over and over again?

It turns out that I'm substantially going over my minutes because Bell, even though my plan states that my evening and weekend calls are free after 6pm, has been charging me for any call made before 9pm. They claim that their system auto calculates the free minutes at the end of the month and retroactively adjusts them after the fact. What does this mean for me and anyone else who's on a spending cap?

It means that your "free" minutes aren't actually free as far as your pocket book is concerned; if you actually dare to use your phone during the time advertised in your plan as "free" you'll incur the per minute charges anyway and hit your spending cap approximately every week and a half or so.

I've got it from a fairly reliable legal source that this whole billing practice constitutes fraud and breach of contract on Bell Mobility's part; if anyone out there is having the same problem, please let me know, I'd love to take a class action suit to these gouging jerks.
