I spent $1000.00 + to buy the "Lazy Doctors Personal Injury Marketing System" from these guys. 17CDs & a large manual. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee. I paid for this package in March '05 & took delivery in June (the delay was at my request). I called their 800# within the 30 days after delivery to say that my practice was being sold & I wouldn't need the materials, how to I go about returning it for a refund? They basically said "F.U. sucker" You bought it, you eat it. Mastercard was no help either but I'm still gonna take 'em to Small Claims Court and sell the original and as many bootlegs as it takes to make back my $1000. investment. Joke 'em if they can't take a f**k, I say. I WILL get the last laugh.

"Dr" Lester

#17Consumer Comment

Sun, November 01, 2009

There are several Docs on here who have posted responses to Lester's original report...I am just one of the many happy Doc's who have ordered several of Ben Cummings programs over the years and have had nothing but positive experiences with Ben, Emily and Dr. Nielsen as well.

We have nothing to gain from doing this other than saving the reputation of  very high integrity individuals such as Ben Cummings, Emily and Doc Nielsen. They go above and beyond the call of duty and obviously the Dr. who posted that original complaint was pissed at himself for not even opening up his system.

Great company and will continue to do business with them...another satisfied customer!

Each Doctor On Here Defending Ben Cummings Are Truly Legitimate

#17Consumer Comment

Sun, October 18, 2009

To the person who stated/implied the recent comments defending Mr. Cummings were false, YOU ARE SO, SO WRONG!!!! Just a few weeks ago I found the original idiotic posting from about two years ago (NOT FOUR YEARS AGO) from a "Dr." Lester of Connecticut and I let other doctors I know of it. The reason these other responses  came at in a short period of time is I let other doctors only recently know of this once I discovered it. Each doctor who defended Mr. Cummings is truly a happy customer of his and each went to the trouble of posting in his defense. Most were done anonymously probably for the doctors thought the same thing I did----these postings were supposed to be done in a way to prevent others from know the poster's name. To prove I am real and I am not Ben Cummings: I the guy listed as "Indy" and my name is Dr. Eric B. Morris, DC. I practice in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been a chiropractor here for over 16 years. Look me up online if you want to do so. I just think internet bullies who beat up decent people like Ben Cummings without a legitimate claim should be"outed" when they are definitely out of line.

Sincerely, Eric B. Morris, DC ("indy")

Too Many "Anonymous" Rebuttals

#17Consumer Comment

Sat, October 17, 2009

This report was filed 4 years ago and all of a sudden, all rebuttals ae posted in a short period? It makes the company look bad.

At least if you're going to lie, space the reports over a reasonable period of time.

Ben is the BEST in the Business!

#17Consumer Comment

Fri, October 09, 2009

If Lester would just use the program he purchased, he would make will over the $1000 he paid for it. I am more concerned that a fellow chiropractor is making threats of litigation and illegal activity. Obvious Question: Why are you purchasing a program when you are in the middle of selling your practice?!

Ben, Emily & Dr. Neilson are all smart, funny, enthusiastic, honest and caring people. In a business where those qualities are unusual. I personally paid more than $1000 for my program and I would have paid 5 times that for the amount I have received.

My diagnosis? Lazy Lester-itis

Ben Cummings delivers everything he says he will and SO MUCH MORE!!

Dr. Lester of Connecticut Shows His True Color With His Slanderous Report

#17Consumer Comment

Wed, October 07, 2009

Dr. Lester, in my personal and professional opinion, needs to print out his words from his posting and orally and gastronomically consume the paper they are printed on for he truly should "eat his own words". I have reviewed the rebuttals to the not-so-nice Dr. Lester of Connecticut---as I have, these other doctors have obviously had considerable positive personal experience with Ben Cummings, his products and his associates. Strongly reinforced by these postings from other customer-doctors basically is this: my positive experience is definitely not a unique situation---it obviously is the norm with Mr. Cummings. It is my sincere belief Dr. Lester should apologize to Mr. Ben Cummings for his slanderous, harsh and deceitful words. As far as I know, Ben Cummings has not gone after Dr. Lester in any way, except for his explanation here on his side of the situation---it takes a good and honorable person to not go after a lying, cheating, unethical individual such as Dr. Lester. I am really not sure I could "take the high road" as Mr. Cummings obviously has in this situation. Clearly he has many devoted customers/doctors who truly know Dr. Lester was out of hand and these fans are not afraid to put a dishonest Ben-bashing person in his place. Individuals such as Dr. Lester stain our profession to the point of regretfully causing many non-chiropractors out there to look at us with minimal respect---too bad firing squads or at least duals are not legal. (After seeing this posting of Dr. Lester's this past weekend, I talked to many, many fellow very-satisfied customers of Ben Cummings about Dr. Lester's words---all were severely incensed with the content of his posting and the senseless dishonest attack on the impeccable character of Mr. Cummings. It's too bad more of the hundreds or even thousands of his happy clients have not come to his defense here!!!)
Dr. Eric, Indy
PS If Mr. Cummings hears of even one episode of Mr. Lester copying and selling the package purchased from Mr. Cummings, I pray Mr. Cummings pursues him legally to the maximum degree. (I do not think that Lester character should be called "Dr."---if Mr. Lester can display his obviously misplaced and misdirected anger, so can I.)

Are You Kidding Me?

#17Consumer Comment

I'm sorry, but this doctor that bought the "Lazy Doctors Marketing System" is an idiot.  To me, that's exactly what he is...LAZY!  From my experience, if you put even an ounce of effort into the info. you get from Ben Cummings, your practice will grow.  One question I have is if this guy's practice was being sold within this "30 days" why did he even consider buying the product to grow his practice?  It sounds to me like he bought the system, let it sit on his shelf collecting dust for a few months (over 30 days), his practice shrank, and now he's trying to get rid of whatever he can to get some money back.  Go work at McDonald's if you want to be lazy!

I say "Thank you for the help Ben!"

Lester: Quit Whining Like A Spoiled, Foul-Mouthed Child

#17Consumer Comment

Tue, October 06, 2009

I have been a client of Ben Cummings for over 10 years.

In that time, I have been 100% satisfied with Ben's business ethics.

And I seriously doubt that Emily said: "F.U. sucker...you bought it...you eat it".

Emily is a sharp lady with pure class. Period.

Lester's true nature is revealed in his post. He states he is willing to sell the

original course and make "bootlegs" to recover his $1,000. Not to mention

his clever grasp of profane grammar. Apparently, he is announcing to the

world that he is a potential criminal willing to violate Ben's copyright(s).

And he claims Ben is unethical. Go figure.

Possible solutions to this situation:

#1) Just sell the course on eBay (this is what every other normal person does)

#2) Offer this course as a "bonus" for buying your practice.

#3) Raise the asking price for your practice by $1,000 (duh!)

#4) Donate the course to your favorite chiropractic college and take the tax deduction.

#5) Offer it for sale on "Craig's List" (the ad is free, ya know)

My father taught me, and my brothers, the following:

"Don't bring me your problem...bring me your solution".

As you can see, there are better solutions to this than trying to smear

Ben and his associates on this website.

Lester, quit playing the victim here. You were given a brain...use it and quit

whining. You come across as a spoiled child with a foul mouth.

Great Experience with Ben Cummings

#17Consumer Comment

Mon, October 05, 2009

I have been involved in marketing with Ben Cummings for many months. I have also purchased many marketing items from him, including the "Lazy Doctors PI Marketing System" that is being referenced.

I have to say that Ben is by far the most ethical and runs his business with the upmost integrity. He always overdelivers on his products. And he always goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied.

I find it very hard to believe that if the return was followed by the policy, that Ben would not have refunded the money as promised. If he promised the money back guarentee and the client was not satisfied, he would have refunded the money.

I have had a wonderful experience with Ben and the Practice Building Center. I would  highly recommend anyone doing business with him. I am really disappointed in someone who is trying to unethically ruin his reputation.

Ben Cummings and Dr. Neilson are great!

I've done business with both of these gentleman for some time.  First class all the way!  Dr. Lester sounds very unprofessional in his complaint, someone that does not belong in the health care profession.  I mean, who wants to go to a doctor that uses the F-word in a lousy complaint?  Not me!  Ben Cummings has always stood by his products and services and cannot be guilty of this nonsensical accusation.

I have been a client of Ben Cummings organization for over 4 years and have received excellent service from the start.  I have met Ben, Emily, and Dr Nielsen personally; and I can assure you that they conduct their business practices with the utmost integrity, ethics, and compassion.  This organization sets itself apart by actually CARING about their clients.  Keep up the great work Ben !

PS: I have actually purchsed several of Bens/Dr Nielsen's courses over the years and have never been let down.  Excellent material !

If this guy had used the product he would not be whining!

#17Consumer Comment

I have been a client of Ben Cummings for years and find this guy's complaint to be total the opposite of my experience.  Ben has the personal integrity to do the right thing for his clients.  His products and services are worth much more than he charges.   He does stand behind his products.

This complaint occurred because the person did not follow the agreement to return the product within 30 days.  After 90 days you would think the guy would have used the product so much he would know the value of the contents.  If this complainer would have opened the product and used the information, he might have saved his practice and not have to sell it.

Ben Cummings=First Class!

#17Consumer Comment

Mon, October 05, 2009

I have been a member of Ben Cummings consulting for over one year. The services provided are chock full of valuable content that is truly cutting edge.  This company OVER delivers.  I have been involved with other practice gurus with questionable ethics.  Ben Cummings has always demonstrated the highest ethics in his business relationship with me.  I have always had 100% confidence in referring others to Ben for help.

I have also purchased products from Dr.Greg Nielsen.  Same as above, over delivers value and just like Ben, goes the extra mile to help.

In my experience, Ben Cummings, Emily and his company are the polar opposite of rip off artists.  Long live Ben!

I have been a client of Ben's for two + years now and have had nothing but good experiences with his company. I find that Ben and staff if anything over deliver on subject matter. I would not go by one persons supposed bad experience to make a judgment about Ben and his company because you would be making a big mistake.

I always have received outstanding service, timely return of requests and they canceled my account without question when I was done using it.

Maybe what you say is stretching the truth a little due to being upset at the situation - I don't believe you were ever treated this way from this company - they hold themselves to a higher standard!

Sorry Lester from CT, there are 100's of others who will disagree with you on this one...

My Positive "Ben Cummings" Experiences

#17Consumer Comment

Sat, October 03, 2009

After reading this disgruntled doctor's complaints and Ben Cummings' response, I felt it to be a necessity to respond. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with Ben Cummings and his Practice Building Center website, and for that matter with Dr Neilson and Emily, Ben's assistant. Over the years I have bought several of Ben Cummings' products and one of Dr. Neilsen's products and have not had one problem with delivery, payment, etc. One time I had to get a refund for the package I ordered was not a "great fit" for me---this refund was handled so quickly and easily. Also, one thing I have learned over the years is the following: Ben Cummings is a nice guy who is quite ethical, especially for a marketing guru. (I have even heard his competitors at seminars agree he is all about supreme ethics and good customer service.) I defintely plan to confidently purchase and use Mr. Cummings services and products in the future.

My Clarification On the Details of This Transaction

#17REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, February 04, 2008

This happened back in 2005. This customer Dr. Lester L---- bought this course on 6-5-2005. He called six months later on 12-23-05 to see if he could return it and get a refund. However we clearly state on the order form and on our website that we have a two month guarantee, which allows people to see if a course is for them and if they choose to they may return it - as long as its within this 60 day period, which I have always considered enough time to make a reasonable judgment as to the merits of a course.

Lastly, as you can tell from the tone of his threat to make illegal copies of this program and sell it, we did not have a good experience with this customer. We treat our clients fairly and with respect, and ask for such treatment in return. He expected us to honor a return policy that had long been expired.
