On February 2nd, I ordered Bendaroos (250 plus an addtional "free" 250) for $19.95 at the Bendaroos.com website. After the initial order screen, I took advantage of one of the scrolling offers of craft scissors for only the cost of shipping. As my granddaughter's birthday was on February 14th, to ensure arrival of this item she had requested on her "Birthday List", I paid the "rush" delivery charge (ship in 3-5 business days). I received an email confirmation of my order; see below.

When I had not received the above order on February 11th, I called the number listed on my email confirmation and spoke with a very pleasant customer service rep. She tracked my order and advised that because the craft scissors had been back-ordered, the ENTIRE order had just shipped on February 10th and she offered to credit my card for the rush delivery charges. She gave me the United States Postal Service (that's another story!) tracking number and advised that no shipping activity had posted as of that date.

I tried to track the order that evening and again the next day to no avail. No activity posted.

On February 13th, after trying to reach an actual person, by phone, at USPS, with no success, I again called Bendaroos. I spoke with another CSR, who was also trying to be helpful, and she could give me no further information. I insisted that a manager call me.

Within a half-hour, I received a call from a manager who advised that my order had not left the warehouse. After I indicated that I should have been notified of the back-order status of this order, she said that the computer software was very old and did not have that capability. She offered to credit my card for the entire order.

It is now February 19th and my shipment is posted at USPS as having made it through the first step of the shipment process. ie picked up by the postal service on February 17th.

I am currently searching for the name and contact information of this company and their handlers (Worldwide) and will pursue this issue. If anyone has this information, please share. If you have had a similiar experience, please join me in my pursuit, file a complaint with Ripoff Reports and send a letter to the CEO.
