Complaint Review: Bender Ball

Towards the end of last year I purchased the Bender Ball from Benderball.com.I only asked for the dvd and of course the $9.99 turns into more because I did not want the VHS tape. In the mail I received the bender ball and it was what I expected. What I did not expect is another charge from the compay for $6.99 for some diet pills and cardio burn dvd that came in the mail. I did not order the dvd as I work out at the gym and diet pills; I would never take them. I sent them back to the company and I have been given the run around about a credit that has not been placed back to my credit card. I know it is only $6.99, but the point is that they committed a fraud by charging my card for something I did not authorize. They claim I only paid shipping for the products, but I never ordered this stuff.

So on January 20, 2009 I telephoned the company at 800-601-7088 and the girl argued it was only shipping but I told her I did not want the merchandise and I did not authorize them to charge the card. She said I would receive a credit within 7-10 business days for $6.99. It is now March 3, 2009, and I have not received a credit. I have different emails from the company as they said they would credit the account and that was on 2/16/09 and another on 2/18/09 and another on 2/19/09. My card has never recieved the credit and I am reporting this to Consumer Protection at the end of this week if there has been no credit.
