Beneficial Client Care is a telemarketing company who call consumers with the come on of a $2500 limit credit card. They set up a bank draft (check by phone) for $247.00 to post approximately 30 days later. After they had me like a cheap w***e, it dawned on me that they offered no credit card at all. my $247 was buying a list of creditors whom "I" have to apply myself for credit. All this with no guarantee of getting any approval.

One of the tricks they use to seem official is they pass you off to another employee with the statement that they are recording the conversation for verification purposes. Fortunately I realized my error (dumb mistake) right away. Don't even bother trying to call them. They have a terminally full voice mailbox.

Simple fix is just close the account that you gave them, or start an UNLINKED to overdraft protection savings account and transfer the money there so the draft will bounce. I talked to my bank and they can get my money back as well as reverse any NSF fees. Also don't forget to unlink ANY overdraft protection connected with the account you give them.

Thing is that I know better. I was just caught off-guard--it happens .

They will get what they give. That's karma! Call in a couple of favors from NYC and clean 'em...They called the wrong person this time...end of story!
