Received phone call advertising low 6% interest on credit card. Was told credit card came with dicounts at various department stores and was interest free for 6 months for balance transfers.

I was told there was a processing fee of $15.00 that could be paid by eletronic check over the phone. I agreed to these terms.

Two days later while checking on my accounts on line I saw a withdrawal for $247.00, I was very upset. I have other credit cards why would I want to spend that much for a new one. The next day there was a second withdrawal for $247.00. that was not authorized.

I notified the bank and the second payment was returned because the bank was in error, since it was not authorized.

I am disabled and do not have any extra money to throw away. the lost of this money will put a crunch on me this month. I hope to recoup the funds that these crooks took.
