I am days away from lossing my home because of what Beneficial did to me. In November 2002 I had e refinance set to close the first week in December. I received a notice from Beneficial telling me I could refinance at a lower rate so I called just to check it out. I was connected with a rep named April at the Longmont office. She told me to come in and they could get me a lower rate.

This is were I was taken to the bank. She had me do a consolidation loan and was supposed to put it all into a refinance with an interest rate of 8%. This was 4% cheaper than my refinance so I agreed. She screwed up my payoffs and I had to call her. She told me they would take care of it at the refinance.

Well when I sent her the payoff requests, she called me 5 days later and said they couldn't refinance. I was stuck with 4 mortgages and a 2,400.00 payment! I piad one payment and then turned them into the District Attorney. This went in through October 20022 and I was told because it was all Aprils words, there was not much they could do.

I spent the last 4 months trying to refinance but Beneficial over priced the house and I have no equity. It is foreclosed now and I am seeking the advice of a lawyer. Please do not let this company scam anyone else. It has tore my family apart! By the way, did I mention I found out April was fired from the Longmont ofiice? Strange huh.
