Complaint Review: Benefits Transcations Solution

I purchased a health insurance plan back in November. I was misinformed when I asked if the plan would still require me to pay the tax fee at the end of the year. The rep said when I transfer you to the person who reads you the confirmation do not ask any questions because it will delay the process and he will not be able to answer your questions, instead call me back and I will answer youe questions. I was in such a hurry to pruchase a plan I was not thinking about how ridicoulous that sounds. But, I waited to call him back because I heard the plan was limited. Anyway I paid $434, 309 for the plan and 125 to lock in the price.

When I finally was able to get a hold of someone to ask about canceling my plan they asked if I received a welcome email and I did not so they sent me that also with the directions on how cancel. I was only refunded the 309 because they say the 3 days passed and I did not cancel in time in order to get the other 125. I informed them that if I was properly informed and not misled I would have not purchased it at all and if I was able to get in touch with anyone I would have canceled in a timely manner. They said they would request a copy of the phone call and everytime I call they say they have not received it.

They keep pushing off the matter and refuse to resolve the issue. ALso a copy of the verifcication call is not the complaint my complaint is the conversation with the sales rep. Vincent Ferrara from sales. SInce he informed me not to place questions during the verification call and that the plan will not require me to pay the fee. Benefits transactions solutions will not refund my full amount. If they were not scamming people they would refund the full amount. But they have you pay the enrollment fee of 125 which the rep told me it was to lock in the price and not for enrollement. So imagine if they get 125 from each honest person. Someone needs to stop this company.
