I was contacted by an agent a few days after searching online for individual health care policies back in late November 2007. I "bought into" this "full coverage insurance policy" at one of the lowest times of my life. Now, a full 2 1/2 months later, I have used ZERO of the purported "benefits". I cannot afford to pay for a scam that preys on people that are desperate!

I have contacted these people on several occasions by phone and fax. I sent back my "benefits package" that I was told to do within 30 days in order to cancel my "membership". A few days ago (mid February 2008) I received a letter stating that since I am paying with a credit card, I will now be charged an additional $15.00 "processing fee" per month "due to the high cost of doing business with credit card merchant companies".

I have received no other communications from these people whatsoever.

I should have realized that things that sound too good to be true usually are. Another red flag that should have clued me in to this SCAM is the fact that I was charged a "one-time processing fee" to "lock in my cost for a full year" to "avoid rising coverage costs"......

Lesson learned--when someone calls you saying that "you have been pre approved for a full coverage health insurance policy" after giving no indication whatsoever of your medical conditions (mine are extensive and expensive), hang up the phone!!!
