*Consumer Suggestion: FAX THEM A LETTER DEMANDING VALIDATION

I received a letter from Bennett & DeLoney trying to collect on a bogus bounced check. The check number was wrong. The payee was wrong and the amount was incorrect.

I have requested a copy of the check and they have not responded. What bothers me is they have my name and home address. Be careful with this one.

If they don't have the actual check, they cannot validate anything. There is a section about these people on budhibbs.com under "Agencies to Avoid".
