Several Months ago our company received an unsolicited telesales call from Berger & Company.

Approximately a month later we received an invoice of 345.00 to cover the cost of a report that they say we have been sent, followed by threats of legal action if we do not pay up.

So far we have resisted paying the invoice as our company have never agreed to purchase any goods from Berger & Company, and we feel that this company is making its money by sending out an unwanted product on approval, and then after a month has passed they send an invoice out demanding payment, followed by threats of legal action, hoping that companies will pay up rather than cause any fuss.

It has now been over 5 months since we received the first threatening letter from Berger & Company, the latest letter received recently, included an assurance that they do not 'foist' their product on unwilling customers, which in my personal opinion is exactly what they are doing.

Interestingly last week we received another call from their telesales, offering to send us the exact same product, at no time during this conversation was there any mention of costs, needles to say we did not take them up on this latest offer.
