I signed up for this company's "free" 30 day trial online then two days later went to askberkeley.com to cancel my membership in their "Managed Care Direct" program in which I was automatically enrolled. I was nervous (now I see justifiably!) about being enrolled in an automatic refill program so I cancelled right away to avoid any more charges.

I felt I should be able to try the product and then decide for myself if I wished to order more. However, about 30 days after cancelling online I recieve $70 in charges to my account! I call "customer care" only to be told that they have no record of my cancellation (how convienient) and that they will not refund my money even if I refuse the shipment (which by the way has yet to arrive and I have doubts that it ever will). Their response to my having cancelled online almost a month earlier was simply "Well, we can't be responsible for our website". Oh really? Well if you can't, who can?!

So a word of warning to anyone unfortunate enough to be involved with this company! Do not assume that their website will process your cancellation as it promises to, it is all a lie! It will only lure you into a false sense of security that you are safe from any more charges then before you know it, you will be billed! I have filed a complaint with my bank and of course hope to get my money refunded, but I won't bet on it.

So any of you "customer care" reps out there who have been filing rebuttals on this site insisting how great your comapany is and how all these complaints are the fault of the consumer...why is it that your company rips people off even when they are following your procedures!? I cancelled! Why was I charged fraudulently?

Unless you like being ripped-off, STAY AWAY from this company!
