Berkeley Premium Nutraceutials ripoff Deceitful advertising and claiming a free trial only paid shipping. Once they get your debt or credit card wham- they think they have got you. Cincinnati Ohio
My husband and I noticed a television ad for a product "Avlimil" allowing a free trial and gave a toll-free telephone to call.
I called and told the representative that I only
wanted a "free trial". She told me that I would have to pay for shipping, so my husband and I agreed that was not bad. I have her my husband's debit card number only for the shipping.
She tried to push a special on me with this product and I told her repeatively that I only wanted the free trial sample.
Nevertheless, today we received the next two (2) months supply that we did not order or never planed to order, and debeted my husband's account for $70.00!
Never once did I give permission for this over the phone or never once the representative said anything about an automatic enrollment plan we were going to be placed on.
