Purchased a leather recliner with massage unit in Dec.22, 1998.

It didn't work the day the chair was delivered, it took 11 months, 2 weeks to get the part from Berkline. A letter was written to Berkline, no answer.

The leather is sticky, color came off, leather feels like sand, wrote to Berkline, they want me to purchase the leather at my expense of $132.00 (their cost)they will be happy to give me the address of a repair center, where I am to call to get the estimate to have the recliner repaired, also shipped at my expense. this chair was less than 2 years old. I am retired and can not afford this expense.

The dealer has tired to help me, but no longer handles Berkline due to the problems with the company. I have been sold defective merchandise, Berkline will not stand by their products, I want it taken care of.
