Purchased a Sofa,  Love Seat and Recliner through Colony House Furniture - Waited for special order fabric and received furniture end of November 2009 - - Looked fantastic, comfortable and with the Wallaway® design worked well for about 3 months.  In 3 months one of the seats that recline on one side of the sofa started sinking - then the other side  - by May of 2009 one of the recliner mechanisms on the two piece Love Seat became hard to work.  Left messages with Colony House - no response.  Furniture kept getting worse.  Berkline has a Limited Lifetime Warranty  well it certainly is limited.  Colony House sent the information to Berkline and their response was warranty is up !   The life expectancy of their furniture is less than 1 year.  This furniture is absolute junk.  It is so cheaply made that no one should ever buy it !  How they can produce this and stay in business I can not understand.  They hide behind the ONE (1) year warranty.  How do they get away with the phrase "Lifetime" ?  Is the lifetime of furniture one year?

Do not buy Berkline Furniture if you actually want to sit on it It is okay if you just want to look at it.   I wasted 4K thinking Berkline was a high quatilty US Company. 

I will purchase new furniture -  it won't be Berkline and I will not get it from Colony House
