Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane and Associates

This company is complete nonsense. They pretend to be just another bodyshop that can get you together with employers. What they really do is come off as a "ccut above" body shop and let you know about a very high fee in what they call a "second interview". If you read the story from the Kansas City Star at this link - http://www.kansascity.com/mld/
kansascitystar/business/4207654.htm You will find out that what they are doing is illegal.

You can't appear to be interviewing someone for a job when you are really just trying to get them to pay you for "career advice". This rediculous advice consists of subjective critique of your resume, your personality, interviewing skills, and such. They make you sign a contract that lets them out of any verbal promises they make.

Search the internet for "Bernard Haldane Kansas" and you will find plenty of documents on how the District Attorney there really took it to them. They operate in the exact same manner as they were convicted for in Kansas. STAY AWAY, unless you simply want to screw with them like I did, where I led them on in order to get a copy of their contract, which I am using to file a criminal complaint with the albuquerque District Attorney.

These guys are total cons and are not the least bit legitimate. The screwball I talked with is named Joe Mercadante, in Albuquerque.
