Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane Associates

Being another of the great unemployed IT'ers for 7 months, I was finally ready to go a different route in my job search. So, when I found the ad for BHA in the Boston Globe I sent in my resume. A nice woman named Randy called me and set up an appointment with Diane Zarick, President (not VP) at BH.

I arrived at my appointment...nice offices at 1 Financial Plaza in Providence. When I met Diane I was ushered into her office. She got into a lot of aspects of my career, my goals, home life, family, etc. Same things Ive read on this site. Anyway, I was feeling good about myself, ready to take on this new challenge. Then she told me "the good news"....BHA could help me find a new job.

She called the secretary to arrange for a second interview where I need to bring my wife (first warning bell)...why my wife I asked. Because she could give Diane background about my self that I may not even be aware of AND I was making a big financial decision. (Second warning bell).

After setting up an appointment for the next morning I began to leave when Diane gave me her business card...hmmm, no email for diane just a generic providence@haldane.com (third warning bell). I left and thought about these three things, got home, and did a lot DEEPER search on BHA. Found this site. Needless to say, I was upset. I wrote to Diane (using the generic email) and told her that I would be more than happy to work with BHA if they would agree to wait until AFTER I got my job to get paid.

I doubt Ill be hearing fromthem soon. THANK YOU EVERYONE HERE AT RIPOFF...you saved me a bundle of money at a time I could not afford to lose any. I personally think that preying on people like this is sickening. How they go home at night and look at themselves in the mirror is beyond me. Must have something to do with having no morals.....
