Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane

Yes again another duped consumer by BHA! I signed on with BHA in February 2001 in the hopes of pursuing a more lucrative career in Toronto. Based in Montreal and woed by the slick sales pitch and promises to an elite contact network, 5500$ and 3 years later the only thing I have to show for this are the following: I went through 4 career consultants.

The first rep was based in Montreal and I finally asked-insisting strongly-for a Toronto representative. The Montreal rep did not have the master of the English business language nor any clue from a network perspective. His recommendations were to build a Montreal network in the hopes of landing an opportunity in TO. The second representative in TO resigned 3 months after our first contact.

TO representative #2 also resigned 6 months after my re-assignment. The last representative, in no way any better, encouraged me to move first to TO requiring me to quit my job in Montreal. Her reason? I would be more appealing to future employers. It was an utter waste of my time, money, not to mention a blow to my dignity and trust.

Three years later from the signed BHA contract date, I found a job in Montreal at a salary nowhere what was promised by BHA. PS: my BHA TO representative does not even know I have changed employers as it has been over four months she has not followed with me. PPS: stay AWAY from BHA and instead invest 25$ in an job search manual as well as a recruiter directory listing. Money will spent!
