Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane Associates - Neil Levitt Robert Eitzen

I became client of San Diego office of Bernard Haldane Associates (the Firm)in May 2001 and prepaid their fees in the amount of $5265. I was promised assistance in finding a position with at least $150,000/year income. I was also promised that: (1) while looking for a permanent placement the Firm will find me a temporary job;

(2) the Firm will ACTUALLY DO THE JOB search for me; that

(3)the Firm has ways to approach potential employers "from inside" and motivate them to employ candidates;

(4) that the firm will DO the actual networking for me in San Diego;

(5) that the office in San Diego will do job search for me internationally.

ONLY with those assumptions I agreed to become their client. I made it clear that the only reason why I was using the Firm's services was to FIND a job and that I was NOT interested and was unable to pay for career counseling, training and other similar exercises.

Neither of the promises was ever delivered. The Firm has also been ignoring all my written requests for reimbursement thus causing me material and moral damage and demonstating reckless or willfull neglect of their clients' interests.

The Firm obviously took advantage of my personal emergency situation and also of the fact that I am am an alien in this country.
