I have been contacted by Bernard Haldane after I registered my resume on job sites. They asked me for a first interview telling me that they probably have jobs for me.

During the time I spent in their office, I had a bad feeling. The place was so quiet, no activity, the "senior counsellor" didn't have the resume I sent them, he asked if I was married, he never answered my questions clearly ("it's so difficult to talk with information technologies people, I'm never accurate enough for them")...

But, the most strange thing : he "didn't want to have me as client until he'll be sure that I'll be a GOOD client... they have a reputation to protect, but he was very tempted to schedule the 2nd interview... yes, no, maybe... YES!!!". I WAS SO LUCKY!!!! "But, you must understand that it's not because I schedule a 2nd interview with you that you'll be accepted as client therefore". I have to prove that I'm nice enough to give them my money!!!! WOW!!!

First, I thought it was a recruiting firm. After I gave him all the information he needs to know about me, he announced that there are fees. But never he accepted to tell me the amount of these fees, nor what they'll exactly do for me... it was very doubtful. Anyway, I played the game and I accepted the 2nd meeting.

After, I checked the "Bernard Haldane file" at a consumer protection office in Quebec and I discovered 2 customer complaints plus an advice from the office... After, I founded this site... My doubts were justified!

I left a voice mail to my "senior counsellor" telling that I just want to cancel the meeting. He called me back. His message tells that he wanna know if I wanted to schedule another appointment, it was not clear... and he wants to know what has happened since the first meeting...".

If I cancel without asking for another date, it's because I DON'T WANT another date!!!! It was not supposed that they refused clients who aren't decided to invest themselves totally in job seraching? So, why trying to catch me again?

Anyway, thank's to all of you who filled this report, you confirmed my suspicions and keep me clear of a lot of troubles!
