This is the first report on the Missouri location, but I am sure it will not be the last. I found BHA on the net, (while job searching), and received a call from a very polite lady (the secretary of the VP). I set up an appointment time to meet with the VP, Bill Schneider. The office was nicely decorated and very fancy to say the least. He also gave me quite the sales pitch to match that lavish office! Being a sales professional myself, I can spot a sales pitch when I hear one. But being out of a job for a couple months and exhausting all my resources I was very interested in what this company had to offer.

I was sent home with the "homework" as it is called and was asked to return the following day with my girlfriend/wife for a second meeting. We returned the next day for this 2 hour meeting listening to the exact same sales pitch. BHA claimed to place me into this big paying job, whatever that may be even if I have never worked in that field, because every one has "transferable skills" and also telling me that high dollar companies don't advertise their jobs and I would never have these resources without them. And they would teach me top notch interviewing and negotiating skills.

If you listen carefully all BHA has to offer is a "program", that's what they call it. They critique your resume, teach you how to interview, and how to negotiate your pay!! I almost fell for this BS!! Bill Schneider, VP of BHA even contradicted himself when my girlfriend asked the same question several times but in different ways, which concerned job placement. She asked Bill Schneider if BHA would send me to these so called companies for interviews and he replied "No" then later in the meeting she restated "so you do not have companies come to BHA that are interested in interviewing your clients/my boyfriend?" and he then replied "oh yes we have several companies we work with and we will send him on interviews". We finally got to the fee which Bill Schneider like to call "the investment" of $5,500.00. Which we flat out told Bill Schneider we couldn't afford this kind of money. He then came up with some interesting and also humerous ideas on how we could pay, such as: go back to your old employer (who laid me off) and ask them for the money (give them a guilt trip). Cash out 401K or retirments (another bad investment!), and my very favorite of all, have a yard sale! he had a long list of these suggestions, however he didn't mention sell a kidney!! maybe I should call him and tell him to add that one!!!

Like the old saying goes "if it sounds to good to be true it probably is". I almost fell for this whole scam but thanks to my girlfriend researching on the net, The Better Business Bureau and Ripoff we found the truth on this whole "Program". It is one big scam, don't fall for it, if it's not too late!!
